What Do You Think About Patient & Doctor Relations These Days?????



I was watching The "Today Show" this morning and they was talking about Doctors and the relationships with there Patients. How a lot of people aren't satisfied with there Doctors these days. I feel this is true. I don't feel it is because of the media talking about negative reports on the air. I myself have had bad dealings with more Doctors then good. I changed Doctors several times till I found the right ones. Mostly it was because of how I was treated.

After I had a Bad Fall on concrete steps there was two Doctors that was totally wrong in how they treated me. One was a Specialist, He was giving me a test to see if I had nerve damage. It was hurting me when he haste fully inserted the small needles in me with extra force then He should have. I could tell He didn't like me. His attitude was totally obvious in word and action. I told Him it was hurting me and said, "Jesus Help Me!" crying because I was very uncomfortable and in pain. He looked me right in the eye and said, "Jesus Has Nothing To Do With It!"

Then I went back for Him to read my test results to me. He was the most hurtful Dr I Had Ever had. All He did was through up my past Marriages and explain how He thought I was as a Person. I had never met Him Before that day. He didn't really know me and I left crying. I felt as if the Family DR I had at that time must have made a comment about me that wasn't very good. Because I had never met Him before for Him to judge me like that. My past marriages had nothing to do with my future or my back problems from the accident. No one is perfect and we all have made mistakes in our life or Others made mistakes and we got caught in the middle. I feel that this was totally UN-called-for. I fired them both and kept searching for a Dr. I could be comfortable with.

I also have experienced that a lot of them don't really listen, take time to talk to you much and I believe that they are to eager to write prescriptions then look for other alternatives like vitamins and herbs for helping Patients, I feel it is mostly about Money these days then the best interest of the people.
